Lakes guided mountain walks
As I write we have six guides in the present team. You are welcome to contact any of us if you need information about a walk but please note for specific enquiries that the following people have key roles. For some walks, and for Pete and Lyn's Navigation Day (16th June) it is a requirement that you book in advance. This does not mean that you need to pay in advance, you will still pay on the day but we do need to know how many are coming so we can plan accordingly. So if you see the words 'please book' on the programme then we would ask you to do so. For instance Pete's walk Carrock Fell to Keswick (27th June) needs transport planning around the numbers involved so he must have pre bookings.
We would also ask you to book if you know you plan to come out with a large party as some of our leaders will only take a maximum of 12 people. This does not apply in all cases because Pete and Lyn will often take walks together and in particular will always make sure for Scafell Pike and other Classics they take that they have 2 leaders. Alison and Halle will be joint leaders on their walks. But if in doubt contact us anyway and if you prefer to book, then by all means do so but remember you pay on the day. |
