New for next year

We are proposing to overhaul KR next year and several ideas are in the pipeline. One proposal is that we do away with some of the 'B' and 'C' walks as these grades of walks are covered by other organisations. We intend to offer more 'Classics'. including walks such as the Fairfield Horseshoe, High Street, Pillar etc. This will mean that most of our walks will begin at the earlier time of 9 am to enable us to get further afield. We will be asking customers to book for some walks and are working on a web system to enable you to do so.
At £12 we are by far the cheapest providers of Classics and our knowledge of the Lakeland Fells is, of course, unsurpassed. 

Take care during the winter and - as Wainwright often advised - watch where you put your feet.

Leaders are exploring the possibility of 2 days walking combined with an overnight camping out (near a pub). Numbers would be limited and payment in advance (around £20 or so).
